Battle raged all around the two High Elves, and they knew that they were in trouble. Back to back, the two Paladins' fiery swords bit through the air at their foes with a calming ease. But no matter how many they killed, more and more orcs came at them. Reavyn was the first to get thrown to the ground, and when he was back on his feet he could not see his partner anymore. Seperating only by a few feet, it was the chance that the orcs were waiting for. As Reavyn's sword clattered against the orc's, the flame all of the sudden extinguished and the sword shattered. Now wielding only half a sword, his anger and desperation seemed to cut through the orcs faster than the flames had. Finally he saw Taryq kneeling on the hilt of his own extinguished sword. After getting the last orc out of his way, Reavyn fell to his knees at the sight of the many spears that pierced Taryq body......
